Thermal Orthopedic Genuine Leather & Wool Insole with Cushion | Handarte®

I got these to downsize a pair of women's L (24.5cm) boot heels down to my size of around 23.5cm, and these did the job WONDERFULLY, I'm very impressed. They feel absolutely amazing and it makes me want to wear this pair of boots over my other shoes even though I'm not normally comfortable with heels............ It's that life changing. There are stickers over the label on the box that mark it 6-6.5 as I originally selected, but the insole itself still says 7-8. I see another reviewer selected size 5 and got the same 7-8 ones I did... so I think the seller doesn't make them smaller than these 7-8 but relabels to appeal to more sizes... Pretty deceptive practice tbh, but they're lucky in my case as I got them to downsize a shoe that is already size 7 to begin with. Also the amazon sticker says there are socks gifted in there, but I didn't get any socks lol. Regardless, I hope with all good karma that this brand sticks around, because I'm definitely interested in more! If they do truly offer size 6's in the future, I would be very interested to get them for my other shoes just for that luxurious soft feel they provide. So lovely...

these insoles are great for winter months at they keep your feet warm

This is my second pair of insoles made by Handarte, I was really impressed with the leather/latex construction and durability of my first pair and so I got these for a pair of shoes that are roomier than I prefer. The construction is essentially identical to their standard leather insoles, with the exception of a wool “fur” layer added to the top of the insole. It’s really soft, but in a natural lambswool-like way. The shoes I’ve installed these in are breathable enough that I’m not sure yet of the thermal properties of these insoles. With spring in full swing, I’m not currently trying for warm shoes. I’d also like to add that after three days of wearing these all day my feet still feel like they’re on clouds, these are really comfortable.

I have a pair of sherpa lined slippers that I wear A LOT. The Insoles were beginning to wear out badly. This is the reason why I had purchased the - HANDARTE Genuine Thermal Leather Insoles - Orthopedic Vegetable Tanned – and they are working out quite nicely!! I didn’t remove the original insoles. I just placed these on top. They fit well inside my size 10 slippers. Best thing; the feel AWESOME on my feet! I might have to buy another set for my other favorite pair of slippers...and another for my boots. One thing worth noting; the black dye of the fur does make my feet a little black but it does wash off.

These are wonderful in boots!! This is the 4th set of sheepskin insoles I've had. My others are thicker sheepskin but with no cushion. This pair is a happy medium of both. For these boots, I took out the boot's original insole (the orangey one ) and the foam insert I had on top of it, and replaced them with the new black/white insert. They're extremely comfortable, and the fur is great. These are also pretty great inside Ugg style boots--super super cozy1 Just be aware that these DO take up more space, so unless you can wear really thick sox and/or remove a padded insole, these will make your shoes too tight.

That's really how they ought to market these: shag carpet inside your shoes. It's really nice shag carpet, though. I like to wear thin socks, so I can feel the fibers smooshing around my feet. The arch support is only average--definitely not like Superfeet or Sole insoles I have. I've got these in my boots, though, which produces an arch effect. The padding is medium-soft, I would say. The combined effect of the rubbery padding and the shag is very luxurious. I haven't really had a chance to assess the odor-resistance claims yet. But relying on the natural odor-resistant properties of goat seems counterintuitive. Time will tell.

Some of the best insoles I have had. Well padded and comportable. Very difficult to trim due to the construction of them. It might be possible to trim the length slightly but its best to make sure the correct size is ordered in the first place.

Usually with these insoles you cut them to size, but these you need to buy in the specific size. And then you need to hope that the size is actually a match. In my case, they fit my gumboots well. They added a nice bit of extra padding to these, and they did feel warmer.
